Any suggestions would be helpful.... ANTS are the most overlooked pattern on the river for august .. and that some of his best fish are tricked with ants -- see his report page on his site .. Cabin was 50 feet from the Madison, views were spectacular and the fishing was great. As Jeremy said ants would be great this time of year. I'd give Kelley a call or get the Western fly hatch guide at Barnes and Noble or maybe through Mike at Flie Fishing only. There is some great water to fish from Quake Lake down. The Rainbows are great and love the Trico hatches. These hatches are like snow, unbelievable. Kelly has a great fly shop at his lodge where you can get a great selection of flies from a great tyer. You should get his video if you ever have the chance. Modern Streamers for trophy trout, its awesome. Also I am headed to Bozeman tomarow mornig for a week and plan to fish a quite large area.
