If the book includes pictures of patterns as well as how to tie the patterns even better. What I am interested in learning is how to control the rate and depth at which my fly swings. Currently I am a newbie at the spey I seem to be doing well with the swing but as temps drop I will be looking to drop my fly deeper and swing it slower. It is supposed to be the most comprehensive bible on swinging flies. HEavy on the West Coast. It covers alot of different tactics, flys, history etc... Not exclusive to spey but good.
