I am looking to set up an all purpose 8wt outfit. I plan on using it for Steelhead and possibly light saltwater use. I am currently looking at a Loop CLW 8/12 Composite reel and a Scott A2 9ft 8wt rod. I have the Loop CLW 2/6 now and am very happy with it. However, this is alot smaller reel and doesn't get punished the way the 8 wt hopefully will. Does anyone have experience with these two products, and if so any feedback would be great.
