The chrome are starting to come in!! I caught two this morning right across the street from my house!! Sorry, no pics (I dropped my camera in the water this winter!!) I went 2 for seven Sad because where I was fishing at the base of a dam the water is running heavy and right past the pool were some crazy headwaters that once a fish got into it you were done. Anyways, I am going to ignore the forecast for more snow next week and enjoy my first non-freezing outing of the season.

nice work !! i like how you keep the exact location under your hat Very Happy ... smart man.... you found you own chrome .. hope it stays that way for ya! .. enjoy...

ps.. get a camera man! would love to see a fish tale and pic ... especially since your last fish tale, if i remember correctly, was .. let's say .. not so optomistic ... and more indicative of the "DARK" side of steelheading ... hence the photo, or lack there of, from the camera that took one for the team! ... glad your back in the game!

Good for you man. Unfortunatly here in Pa we have a fall runing steelhead, so my fish are old and moldy now Confused Hope you take advantage of it and score with some nice steel.

It's not so much of a secret spot it's just that most people are expecting the runs to come later...also all you have to do is read where I live and my secrets blown!! I am still waiting to get my taxes back to pick up a camera. My wife says that I have to pick up a cheap one because of my "incident". Goodluck this year guys.

Hey that's Great Jinxed! We are heading up tomorrow!!! Looking forward to it. Any private messaged intel would be appreciated. On the camera front, I would suggest the Pentax Optio w20. It is waterproof!!! What a concept!
