Went to the mountains yesterday to do some trout fishing. After lethargic, bottom lying, only biting size 30 midge trout fishing all winter, it was nice to see the fish taking top water flies. The weather was in the low 70's and partly cloudy. There were some nice hatches (which we don't see much of in NC). The blue winged olives were everywhere. Caught a bunch of fish.

Must be nice to having them chase dries!! Goodluck this upcoming season.
