I've been fly fishing for over 40 years. Have caught a few over the years. Tarpon over 100 pounds in Belize Tarpon over 80 pounds in Florida Snook 14 pounds Clearwater Pass Florida Dorado, 44 inches, Sea of Cortez Silver Samon 16 1/2 pounds Alaska Steelhead 18 pounds Gualala River Nor CA German Brown 8 1/2 pounds Jackson Meadows, Sierras Strippers to 16 pounds Sacramento Delta My Dad has landed bigger fish than all above (some very much so) About six years ago we were fishing for strippers in Franks Track. He was using a deciever and hooked up a 42 inch Sturgeon. Seabass : 61 cm at the dutch coast from a bellyboat on an 8-weight. Northern Pike : only 72 cm , still trying to go for the 1-Meter pike.... Rainbow trout in Lake Oostvoorne : 60 cm , several times....
