With trout season in full swing (at least it is down here), I've been able to get out on the water a lot already but am still finding myself sitting at work, looking out the window, wishing I was on a mountain stream. Since I'm stuck in an office, I'll settle for some photos to feed my addiction! How about posting some of your latest fish porn? Once I figure out how to transfer my photos to the post, I'll put some up myself.[/img]

tshaw -- beautiful trout .. all of them .. ..that "chromer" is a beautiful fish ... but the wild brookies and rainbows are just a beautiful ... amazing how trout can be "great" for either their size, or their colors or the relative size or all of those things .. i never get sick of trout ... each one is amazing in its own right and has something very unique about it .... would love to hear a couple fish-tales about those fish .. consider submitting one or 2 .. definately, never a need to give away the actual spots .. just the stories behind the fish ... where are you from????

Nice Jeremy, that helps. Somehow, I've managed to not only coerced my parents into taking my two kids this weekend but also talked my wife into doing a little backpacking to hit some way "off the beaten path" streams in the Smokies. Ahhh, the thought of being in 70 degree weather, camping, the woods, and wild fish all are helping to get me through the week. How can I get my photos up on a post? I thought I had it figured out but apparantly my low technical skills are showing up.

Thanks to Whippa putting me in the right direction, I've got a few to share now. This guy was in a wild section of a state park. I think he's a stocker that was smart enough to swim away from the delayed harvest area and get into some wild backwater. Not the prettiest brookie in the world (my camera phone didn't help the picture either) but I had a good time getting him in. Good ol' black wooly bugger.
