......or not. But close. Chased reds tailing in the grass yesterday with the Natural Fly and his spawn Jake. Found this guy filling his belly with whatever got too close. The via-sectomy was in the right place at the right time. Great day.

These picutre are in my email, NCW, and now FF. They are starting to haunt my subconcious. Sort of like Paris? I get it, man. Big fish! Real nice work. I also like to the "fry-in-training". We'll get ours out there soon enough.

Side note- We need to talk about the episode. All I will say is wow. Not good or bad, just wow.

The fly is a creation from my buddy Kary Via. Hence the name on the fly is "via-sectomy" I will try and get a pic of it. Its a Krusty Crab/shrimp pattern. Buggy as hell. Nice movement and flash with a "damn I need to eat that thing" sort of look. It has never been denied. All my fish, in the grass, have come from this fly. Its a sweet fly.
Those flats are killer. With this new moon the tide is way up. It allowed us to get to places we have never been before. Fricking awesome spartina grass flats with white sandy bottoms. Pretty special place. And the funny thing......I have never seen anyone in their...ever.
