I just recently bought my first Scott fly rod (an 8 wt) and was really impressed with the product. When I first got it I was a bit nervous because it was very light for an 8 wt and thought that it might not have the backbone to turn a big fish. I was wrong. I used it for Steelhead fishing and was able to cast all day long and not kill my arm and was also able to turn some heavy fish in high water. Very happy with the rod. The A3 is not the top end but worth the $$ . Was considering buying more rods from Scot and was wondering if wnyone has anymore input on other models. Thinking about a switch or spey. Any thoughts?
