Ice out will be here where I live in about two months. I'm thinking ahead and going right for the hatching season, though. Caddis hatches on my favorite river are VERY epic, fun, and amazing to watch fish simultaneously leap clear out of the water after another. A leaping rise signifyes a fish chasing an emerger**I THINK**!!! My favorite caddis emerger pattern is a sparkle caddis emerger color varies#14-18. Anyone have a favorite caddis emerger pattern they'd like to share?

Soft hackle patterns in the right size and color for the bugs you are matching with a partridge hackle can be very deadly for caddis emergers. Fish will hammer them on the swing too which can be great fun!
