Had a short morning session in Germany fishing in the
troutless section of my stream.
Troutless because the *** that manage that part of the
stream rather stock their trout in a pond at an industrial
park than in the river.
That pond is actually off limits to me, I can only fish the
stream.
Summertime
So no trout and to my surprise no fish.
I guess the low water level had motivated the fish to seek
refuge elsewhere.
Eventually I found them, loads of shiners concentrated in
one spot.
Roach
I managed to catch a few but the critters soon adapted and ignored
my offerings. Still the Roach that I had caught where of good size.
I even saw some real monsters among them.
Some more flowers along the road and dark clouds
moving in.
Weather was good in the beginning but turned nasty as time progressed. Eventually it started to rain and thunder and lightning joined in so it was time to leave.
