BIDDEFORD, Maine -- An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday on the body of a man who was found dead Sunday evening on Hills Beach in Biddeford. Joanne Fisk, spokesperson for the Biddeford Police Department, said the man's body was found around 6 p.m. Sunday by someone who lives nearby. Fisk said the man's death does not appear suspicious. The man was wearing waders and had fishing gear with him.
Police are not releasing his name until relatives can be notified.
Just a note to let you guys know we lost one of our own this past weekend. This is a sad time for all who knew him especially his family and close friends.
This is also a good time to take stock of what is important to all of us. No fish is worth losing your life over. Be carefull out there especially wading alone. Pay close attention to the weather and by all means make shure you always have an out. Mother Nature can be cruel and and she deserves the utmost respect.
