Well....so...another striper season is in motion. I am in the car right now somewhere on 128 in mass.....will be in rhode island in time for, hopefully, an evening blitz or two. Tomorrow ....dan-l is taking me out on his boat. He got 60 or so the other day....so hopefully we can find a few fish......would like to get some nice striper video.....stay tuned....will make updates and some photos while on the water.

At dunkin donuts drive through ...pooring rain...getting coffee.....5 minutes from the west wall......will be tracking down the stripers in 10 minutes

That is an understatement. I can not imagine a world without cofee. All geared up walking out to the wall. Ocean is rough ....may have to hit the flats....

Stripers galore.....lost count.....some shad tooo.....felt good to be into the salt water again. Got some cool footage.....canlt wait to do it again tomorrow

On the wall....on my way now to a little trout stream with big brookies and bows.....then down to the flats once the fog burns off......then meet up with dan-l......stay tuned

Finished breakfast with my wife, then convinced her we should take a drive and find a trout stream to explore. I could fish a little and she could scout for fiddleheads. Too much water to fish, to early for fiddleheads. Sure wish the stripers were in Maine.

Had a good day on the boat ......first spot dan brought us to .....stripers were surfacing all around us. Hooked up instantly....we ha doubles on at one point....then sun came out ....things slowed a bit and wind picked up...called it quits....got a bunch of fish....mostly small....but one 26 inch fish....not too bad for april. 2 weeks the 30 to 40 pounders will be in and a lot more of the 20 to 30 pound fish......thanks dan...great day...
