Was wondering if anyone knew of some good areas around Cape May NJ to Kayak fish or shore fish. Ocean, or back bay , also acces areas for kayak..

Did you ever end up fishing Cape May NJ area? If so, how did it go - we were potentially planning on going there in the future and I was going to post a similar question. Let me know if you get a chance.

Not yet.I ended up going to St Petersburg FLA instead, and had a blast fishing the bait balls from the beach. not alot of snook, caught leather jacks, flounder, gouper, and other misc. I was thinking of hitting the Jersey shore points for the fall run, I read an artical in Saltwater Flyfishing about it and got pretty siked. Dont think I'll bring the kayak though, I find flyfishing out of one to be a pain in the ass. Sitting that low to the water and trying to cast is to uncomforable for me. been using the canoe this summer since picking up flyfishing.
