I spent last week in Driggs, ID. What an absolutely beautiful part of the world!

My goal was to catch a cutthroat, but other than a few 10"ers, I was skunked.
I fished the Teton, which was high and off-color. It seems like a wonderful river, even if I was told that it ranks 49th out of 50 rivers to fish in Idaho!
I fished the Henry's Fork, but didn't do it right - total DIY and easy access as I was working, too. I managed to hit an access point that had an old bridge abuttment and the 'bows were stacked up like cordwood. Being from Maine, I'm not used to fish 12" long with parr marks!
I spent one long morning on the South Fork of the Snake and I WILL GO BACK! what a river. Took a swim in 54 deg water - that woke me up!! I may have trashed my Nikon!
The one thing that really struck a cord with me was how nice everybody was. Locals, tourists, sports, guides, outfitters - All nice and more than accommodating. I can't wait to go back.
No pics 'cause I didn't catch a fish that was worthy.

welcom to my neck of the woods! Well it has been for the last 3 weeks and hopefully will for quite some time. I don't thin there is a fish that doesn't deserve some face time! "Everyone is beautiful, in its own way..." next time your coming out let me know and I'll take yo to some really cool spots. there is some amazing water that ust isn't talked about in general circles and if you can be swrn to secrecy there is a possibility of some kick ass fishing!
