Hey Y'all,
I'm going to be in Carillon, FLA ( near Panama City ) in May and wonder if anyone knows a good fly guide down there? Love to boat that first tarpon or get into some large snook or reds. Thanks in advance! |

Fisherone,
There are a number of good guides in the Panama City area. I'm pretty sure late May would be the start of the tarpon season, but the guides I'm going to suggest can give you more info. Snook are not common in the area, but these guys can get you on the reds with no problem. Check out Shallow Water Expeditions and Christian Yergens. Grassy Flats Charters and Capt. Daniel Snapp can put you on the reds and let you know when the tarpon run is on in the panhandle.
Hope this helps |

My brother-in-law has used Capt. Greg Robinson several times and tells me he is as hard working a guide as he has fished with.
