Got this email from Dan in Rhode Island......
"Bonito are off Block Isand. Here is the fishing report: Won't Be Long Now!
http://www.onthewater.com/fishingforecast.htm"
Jason - make sure you got plenty of backing on your reel when you come up to chase the bonito and albies around....who knows maybe you will even hook into a blue finn.
ps... block island is only 13 miles offshore from the rhode island beaches and breachways....maybe it will be an early season for the albies and last into october....steelies one weekend....albies the next... |

Guys,
First reports of bonito being caught off the RI breachways just came in. Buddy took 1 yesterday, and 2 today. Appears they are a few weeks early.
This is just the first push, so it is quite spotty, within a week or two it should be pretty solid fishing. |

Hey Dan, I am planning on coming down with Jermey this fall for em. But I think I might jump the gun and head down in a couplke weeks also. Where exactly, City, is the best, and an advice or spots would be great.
Thanks,
Caleb |
