|
|
just bought a new reel and shooting system for Northeast salt.
chose a .030" shooting line with float, intermediate and medium sink
loop to loop heads for 10 wgt rod.
then found among my gear at home an un-used 30' long shooter head that is
.069" in the belly, bright blue and feels like a floater.
how can I go about identifying this? not found in any online catalogs. my guess is that it could be 11 weight float tip but hope somebody will clue me in. |

Without more information, I can't identify it specifically; however, if you look at the Orvis catalog:
http://www.orvis.com/store/product_directory_showcase3.aspx?dir_id=758&group_id=10657&cat_id=23993&subcat_id=6012
There is a shooting head pack that includes a blue floating head... Could this be the mysterious head? Hmmm... I thought I remembered a blue floater... I'm very impressed with my old brain!
Good luck with your search!

thanks for the lead.
thanks for the lead. will try to find the weights. certainly casts easily,
faster thru the guides than a coon thru the cat door.
not yet ready to comment on your allover brain function, but for sure you are not color blind. |
