I have always had great success on guided trips (10,000 Islands) but never any luck on the beaches or at Clam Pass. Also wondering if anyone fishes the area with anything less than an 8wt? I was thinking it might be fun to hook up on a 5 or 6wt. I would also love to get my kids (10 & 7) into some fish as well, but on spinning rods. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I'll be in Naples from March 24-31 if anyone is in the area and looking for a fishing buddy.
