|
|
Hey,
Looking for anyone with experience in the salt with Lamson reels, particularly the Litespeed line! I know the most critical thing is to keep any reel clean and rinse with fresh water! I have used them for years from trout to steelhead and salmon. They have always performed flawlessly, but I am moving to Florida and want to put them to use on snook, red's and baby poon's to start. Anyone got any pro's or con's on the Lamson's?
Much appreciated !! |

| I have been using Litespeeds & ULA Force reels in the salt for several years with no more trouble than I would expect from any other reels. The ULAs get a significant amount of use and I sent 2 back to Lamson for $40 cleanings and they came back good as new. I rinse the reels off after every exposure to salt water and clean them periodically as well. Great reels, just bought several more Litspeeds on sale when the new model came out. |

| I thought that to be the case, just looking for some affirmation! Thank you |
